That's one reason I love the Dark Brotherhood quests so much, Shadowmere. It's a black horse with glowing red eyes and you get it from their quests, it's one of the fastest in the games.. I think Unicorns were faster in Oblivion though, so some horses /are/ faster than others.

I wouldn't fret too much about it. You know someone will have a dragon mount mod in the near future.

I think the horses are alright. I have the sprint button down all the time and she runs faster than me. Also am not sure on dragon mounts. It would look good but I feel iffy about it. Oh shadowmere if It looks like the last on then. She wont fit my class look and style.

horse are awesome atm, the only thing that makes me scream WTF HORSES§§§§F.E/ is that you CAN'T FIGHT ON IT i mean srsly..

That is a good point. They could have tried to work on that. It would have been great. Fire arrows from the horse

Actually I know little about horse my sister own several hors and thous Skyrim horsi are quit a typical heavy duty work horses not thous skinny light fast ruining horses.

If you think about it make sense ...... mostly

The horses kinda look like Clydesdale ones. Which I think would fit the type better. Since they are usually heavy workers. None others come to my mind. Also yeah I looked for the TES but there naming it something else. They said it on the wiki. BUt when its out not a clue. Although I thought I read it was told to be in the game to. But don't quote me on that, have been reading a lot.

Yeah, the fact that you cant attack from horse back and their lack of speed bothered me too. On top of that when the horse decides to attack enemies it frequently gets in my line of fire so it has me fretting and being extra cautious when attacking enemies in those cases. I'm not sure; can you buy another horse from the same stable if your horse dies or does the game only have one per stable available? I mean if so you've got to really be careful not hit your horse when attacking enemies otherwise if you accidentally get too many killed soon you won't even be able to have the option of riding a horse. Sure the horse can be good at drawing attention away from you at times, but their attacks don't seem to do much harm to the enemy. I dare anyone to try to keep standing or conscious for that after a horse that size rears up and kicks you in real life.
