Seven billionth since when? When they started counting? they couldnt truly know this, there must be at least one unaccounted birth in the world.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Would be kind of hard to calculate that this birth marked the 7th billion human alive.
Yeah, because we don't really have a stable demographic chart in many third world countries, for all we know some African woman could have given birth to the seven billionth baby, but she didn't register him, from different reasons, varying from political, financial, ethnic etc.

I was discussing this with my friend yesterday. There are a lot of places where births aren't registered. And babies are born all the time. There's probably a dozen '7 billionth' babies out there. The 7 billionth baby might have been born last week or hasn't been born yet.
Not that it really means anything in the end.
