The races aren't really that hard at all, I don't even have to use the boosters when my car is upgraded fully. Try this. When coming to a turn, slow down or you'll slam into the wall, I usually get performance spiked tires so I can drive well /and/ damage other cars with my tires. Also, the trainer can help to heal your car or replenish boosters if you /do/ need them.

Yeah, cheats stopped working for me too -- I have a little cheats.cfg that i exec when i start playing the game and it has this:

It was working but stopped working after the most recent patch. Unless I am doing something wrong? (??) All of these remain at zero even if I try to set them manually one by one. Weird.

Darnit Aeterna....these races are very hard for some of us, really hard....I can't believe I actually keep winning at them. I'm scaring myself

Talk with sally get the quest for the killing of the raiders in the cars, use the trainers mega items thing so you get 99 skulls buy the engine suspension and pro tires for the buggy and do the races easy wins with engine upgrade and tires.

Once you get the cuprino do the same thing to get it fully upgraded.

That was exactly my suggestion in a topic I made. xD

John Carmack has apparently commented that Id made a mistake by giving the console versions equal dev time to the pc version. Lets face it, a very large number of games are ports and while that has not been a bad thing over the last few years it's not like that now. The xbox and ps3 are old now and imo this is having an adverse effect on game dev.

I have a problem with the gfx issues in game, the glitches, rendering problems, pop ups etc are just not acceptable. We've all played games that have gfx driver issues but never to this level.

If our trainer wizards can come up with options like (a) always first in any race or (b)slow down all opponents vehicle, that would be a godsend for players who are lousy at the wheels

Definitely, since I STILL cant win the danged caprino race (two days now)

They usually help us out, though, so maybe they'll give us a win race button
