Looks like this will be one of the few ways to watch the NBA this season
im tired of all these 'poor pro' players whining every season that they don't get paid enough or life is too tough for them. there's literally thousands of people who never get a chance to get to the 'big game'. i wish the owners would just can them all and start a draft like american idol and see who becomes the 'best' every year. then these 'poor overworked' pro players could get a taste of life like the 'rest' of us.
my 2 cents-

But unfortunately, u can't blame them all completely since its THE AMERICAN WAY that pave the kind like of that trends... hey, they need to pay a lot of tax & also need to pay a lot of bills too, so they need a lot of money too
Maybe with just $1 - 2 M each year, we all can be live happily & play almost any PC games, but for Kobe, LeBron, Rondo, Carmelo, Amare, etc... they can't & they couldn't... their mortgage alone will make them cringe in fear & great anxiety too
Its the American way in which the bigger your payday the bigger your expenses too that make many poor atheletes need big paycheck too
If only they all can be paid by their scored points or assists or rebounds or blocks or steals or game times, everytime will be alright... but nope, still the Suns need to pay a lot of bucks for many fringe players like Warrick, Frye, Lopez, Dudley, Pietrus, etc and if a player like Dudley got at least $5M paycheck, surely a player like LeBron or Kobe will need to get wage at least $25 - 30M to justify their greatness
The bad is not every team got a big market as Lakers or Chicago or Boston or Miami or NY, so many owner started to feel the loss of their team so they want to cut & put the more strictly hard cap, while many GREAT famous popular players like Kobe, LeBron, Carmelo, Paul, etc won't like it at all & will only tolerance the cut at max 1 - 3% each year, so its still a big no no
