There must have been an update. I am having trouble with the current trainer, and it has been working problem-free until today.
I can play the game, but the cheats don't work, and the game seems to crash when saving, moving to a new location and also when driving a vehicle. The game appears to be in "active" status, so hopefully and updated trainer will be created.
They released a 12mb patch in preparation for the DLC coming out today. The old trainer won't work now because of that, so hopefully we may get an updated trainer for the patched game and DLC.
Just to let you guys know, Steam has just released the new DLC, RAGE: The Scorchers. It appears that you can buy it but can't download it yet....

it appears that the steam version of the game may have rolled back to the previous version. no idea why. make sure to check your game .exe properties to use the proper trainer
