I hope everyone who bought Space Marines is enjoying it. It will never appear on my computer, however. As long as STEAM controls things neither Space Marine nor any other game requiring STEAM in order to play, will ever be seen on my desktop. I vowed after my last loss to never use STEAM or have it on a computer I own again. So all games which require STEAM are taboo with me. It is a shame War Hammer had to go this route, I have all of their old games from the number one serioes and never had a problem of any kind with these. All I ever had from the git go with Steam was problems. Either they refused to recognize my ID or password, or they screwed up trying to download a patch, I didn't want to start, and failed to copy the entire game. They tried to explain how you could fix this, but I'm no computer whiz so I could never get it done. 10 tries and a dozen emails on the first Dawn of War 2 failed to work, I never heard a word from STEAM. Then after the first three games Chaos Rising went the same route and again I got nothing from this bunch of incompetents. Retribution did better than any STEAM game I have ever owned, but when the patch failed and blew the game, that was it. I said never again would I buy a STEAM game, nor any game associated with these people. I conclude that over 100 dollars lost is enough but, the money isn't the cruix of the the matter. I liked the games and wanted to play these but never had much of a chance. I'll stay with War Hammer 1 series and other non STEAM related games. I know there will be those out there who will say they never had any problems with STEAM and I believe them, they probably never did. Maybe they know how to handle that company better than I do. I'll also be laughed at and probably called a few names, which is fine too. I won't say anything to anyone here out of respect to PWiz but if I catch you on Face Book I will tell you in no simple terms just how much or how little I think of you. Have a good day gentlemen, though I suspect most who play the games nowadays are still young kids. Have a nice day.

This would have done better as a blog rather than a post here. Probably would do a lot better without the martyr part and being initially hostile to potential users that would disagree.
