Iam undecided at this point.
I love diablo and was looking forward to it,but, since blizzard pulled the online only card i just don't know.
I'm sure i have a while to decide, since diablo 3 won't be out until blizzard feels like releasing it.
Well about 7-8 Months
I'm voting no at this point since Blizzard decided to turn it into a MMORPG with no offline or true single player mode. If I wanted a Blizzard MMO then I would play WoW. They are just looking for ways to make money off of things they have banned people for doing in the past.
Oh great. Some 8 years of waiting and all for nothing. I suppose SC 2 Heart of the Swarm will have to do.

Diablo 3 is NEVER gonna be a MMO... dont know where the hell you got that from.. but they aint making it a MMO :P that much i know, the extra online thing is just another DRM like the had in SC2, and the auction thing is external from diablo... its still the 4-8 player co-op through the campaign.
AINT A GODDAMN MMO!!!...
As a lot of people seem to forget there is an offline mode for SC2
.U just need to verify your account once .I played SC2 on my laptop this holidays for 3 weeks without going online once .My gues is it will work for D3 the same way.The trainer works like a charm then and the only thing u miss out on is the achievments, thats a small price to pay in my opinion In the end its the gameplay that counts, so it wil defo be a YES for me.

Blizzard already confirmed that there is no offline mode for Diablo 3. There originally was going to be, this was mentioned on their forums, last year, but that has since changed.
The online only thing doesn't bother me. I only ever played Diablo 1 and 2 on Battle.net. If I couldn't get online, then I played other games. I never really considered Diablo 2 to be an enjoyable single player, it was always at its best when played with other people.
