Please do me the courtesy of Reading this whole post before you reply. Thank you.

Game - Original CODEMASTERS release of Overlord and Overlord: Raising Hell patched to v1.4
    Trainer - O:RH v1.4 +11 Options Link

First and foremost; I'm no idiot, I know how to run trainers... I've been gaming for two decades and using trainers for almost half that.

Second; I've tried Trainers from Caliber for other games and they work.
    Games Currently Installed:
    C&C Kane's Wrath v1.2 - Trainer Works Flawlessly
Age of Empires: The Asian Dynasties v1.01 - Trainer Works Flawlessly
Over a dozen others and the trainers for each work.

Third; I've tried every single trainer for Overlord and Overlord: Raising Hell and NOT ONE OF THEM WORKS. I've read the Troubleshooting and forums here and nothing has helped.

Fourth; I used to run WinXP and the trainers worked like a charm for Overlord: Raising Hell(using O:RH from now on).

Fifth; I currently have Vista 32 Home. So I'm going to assume this is where the problem is coming in, but I have no clue what.

Sixth; NO I am NOT using a Steam version of the game. I'm using my CDs/DVDs!

As I've said already, I've tried every v1.4 trainer for O:RH and none have worked.

    - I've tried running O:RH from DVD AND NO-CD fixes and NO-GO.

    - I've tried running the Trainers Before AND After running the game and NO-GO.

    - I've tried running the Game AND Trainers under XP Compatibility and NO-GO.

    - I've tried running the Game AND Trainers as ADMIN and NO-GO.

    - I've tried different versions of the Game (Retail, v1.1.1, v1.2, v1.4) and using the respective Trainers and NO-GO.

    - I've tried disabling Firewalls AND Anti-Virus and NO-GO.

    - I've tried doing "Clean Boot" as Neo7 suggested and NO-GO.

    - I've tried running the Game AND Trainers under multiple combinations of all of the above and NO-GO.

I've never used Trainers from the Douche h4x0r.

I've tried everything I can think of and the trainer won't work.

Use clean boot to further troubleshoot the problem. The problem is almost always a conflict with another program running in Windows. Clean boot prevents any programs that are not part of the Windows Operating System from being loaded at start-up.

    Also..

"I'm starting to get a headache. Why won't your blasted trainer work?"

Does not help us help you. Remember we are providing you a service.

It can be a number of reasons, a good start is what Neo suggested to eliminate any background programs that may be running, Anti-Spyware progs etc.

Also it may be you have a re-released version of the game, one that was released later on or one that was passed to another publisher to be released.

Also this is not for the original Overlord, but for Overlord and the expansion Raising Hell. Just in case you are using the first title.

Well I've tried the "Clean Boot" as directed by the link Neo7 gave... It didn't help. I've edited my original post to reflect this.

I've tried everything I can think of to get any of the Overlord: Raising Hell v1.4 trainers to work. Nothing has worked so far.

I've tried the v1.4 trainer from Caliber.
I've tried various other trainers and CoSMOS Tables.

    None of them work.

This PC has Vista 32-bit Home so the trainers SHOULD work, but don't.

Re-read original post for the full list of "jumping through Vista hoops" that I've tried with no success.

My wife just installed Overlord: Raising Hell v1.4 (from my CDs) on her Vista 32-bit Home PC (it is almost two years older then this one though, if that changes anything) and the trainer doesn't work for her either.

There has to be something I can do to get the trainer(s) to work on this PC! I've run out of ideas.

You can imagine the headache this is giving me. I miss my XP machine!

Then it has to be a 2nd version of the game re-released by another publisher or something, or a copy from a different zone which has a different executable size and structure.

Although I don't encourage it, you could try to get a no-cd for 1.4 from megagames.com and use that and try the trainer. The filename should be htd-olex.7z

I'll try yet another no-cd... This will be the 9th I've tried...

    15mins later...

Well after about 5 minutes of fixing a few crash problems with the htd-olex.7z fixes (there's two) I finally got the blasted trainer to work. Seems this fix is the best one for Vista 32-bit machines.
