For your system to hard reboot during game play it is more likely a couple of things..

    1. As mentioned overheating..

    2. A faulty RAM stick.

Check www.memtest.org/#downiso for various methods of booting into Memtest from startup.

If you have a USB stick grab the USB loader. And boot up from the USB stick, and run the test.

Although Windows 7 has an in built RAM tester by pressing F8 on bootup before Windows starts (after POST) it is not precise like memtest.

Also check your BIOS settings for temps and to check settings that the PC doesn't shut down on a specific temperature.

    If those suggestions fail..

Goto START > Control Panel > (if you can't see all the options say to show in classic view) Administrative Tools > Event Viewer.

When loaded check the last days critical errors and check the error messages and report here what they say.

Sorry for not being online lately Anyway, I started a game in windowed mode with temp monitors next to it the tempratures were pretty much normal like before 2 seconds of the restart, my memory seems fine, too :/ I checked event viewer and this is the critical error:
    "Event 41 - Kernel Power:
    General:
"The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first.
This error could be caused if the system stopped responding,
    crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."
    Details (in XML):
    Link"

Did you run a memory test like I suggested?

Was there a flash of blue when it restarts?

Then it may come down to one thing, PSU, have you got a spare one to try?
