If people want to hide something enough they will. In hindsight everything is obvious and clear, but at the time, even if you were there personally, I doubt you'd have noticed either.
Like this, if someone truly wants to kill themselves they'll find a way, and no one around them will have seen it coming. Saying "Oh they were so nice and normal" is just daft. We all put a face on in the outside world to the one we wear when we're alone. These people just take that to an extreme. I should know.
I only say the human race as a whole, though, because throughout history you'll find the majority of people looking to others to blame, whether it's other people, or different types of media, to blame for their own problems and those of others and events. Just look at this situation.

@Skyheart. I do agree with you on most points. Dressing military, starting a so-called gang, and saying you are going to kill everyone and blow up the school...Yeah,i wouldn't have been surprised.
Would i have seen it coming? Yes. Would i have been able to stop it? No. That's the sad thing about this whole situation. Nothing is ever done because there is no crime until the said crime is commited.
And,i agree,we do put on different masks, different identities around other people.I should know as well.I do it every day.
I'm going to share something very personal with all of you here, because i want you to understand what i'm trying to convey here. I have tried to commit suicide before.I do not blame the metal bands i listen to,i do not blame my parents,i do not blame the games i play.
I didn't shoot my school up or ever threaten to. I am not disturbed.Mabye depressed. But,not disturbed. I am the one who brought myself to that decision in my life at the time.
I was the one who made those choices.I was the one who was soley responsible for any action on myself or to others.
I guess all i'm trying to say is before we blame others we should look at ourselves first.

I agree. Unfortunately, people can implement as many programmes to root out bad behaviour or depression or whatever else as they want, but unfortunately, in the end, to rephrase what you said nothing can be done until it's happened, by which time it's often too late. But as I said, if someone wants to do something, they'll find a way to do it.
It's all about the blame game, even if you blame yourself.

They've killed themselves... because of that lame song? Seriously? What the hell, there are way better reasons to kill yourself than her song. True, it's a terrible song, but definitely not worth a human life.

That song may have been a trigger for these people, but not the cause. No doubt they had some psychological issues in the first place.

I seriously doubt that her song was the catalyst of the suicides.
The media and newspapers will say it is to create controversy so people will read and buy their papers.
At first it was taken down because of suicides, then it was supposedly taken down by the Black family as the studio was selling the song on You Tube at $2.99 a view which the family disagreed with as they have the full rights to it as the studio is only a middle man.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

You guys got it all wrong, I would kill myself if I listened to that song for more than 10 seconds. She is to blame and she should stop making music that makes people jump of buildings.
