yep geting the same prob no npc's or monsters will spawn

NPC's & monsters do return (slowly) if you restart the game client, the trainer seems to reset spawns to a new map state which is a little odd.

what about house requirements, the release notes mentioned that the requirements have changed a bit so if you don't meet these requirements then i suppose that could also cause the NPCs to not spawn.

No Genesis, turning on the trainer while mobs/npcs are on the screen just makes them vanish.

Starting a new world with just me and the guide onscreen and activating the trainer made the guide blink out of existence.

well that is a bit more clarity than the other posts. they only mention the NPCs not being there, they never mentioned them disappearing while on screen

While I do like the trainer and what it offers, not everything it has is necessary. If it's item and coin manipulation your after than you can just as easily do so with the TerrariViewer mod, which also lets you send your HP and MP to over 1000

i also can confirm that the trainer disable monsters and the "guide".

Yes i have the same problem NPC disappear every time i enable trainer ... very sadd
