i don't want to hijack this thread with a debate on the man... he said in his own words and in video that he coordinated and ordered these attacks (as well as many others). so many america haters clung to this man's words and loved him for coordinating attacks on america, including 9/11. now that he's dead, don't try to make him some unimportant figure... this is big news, and the man was rooted out where he was hiding and executed for his actions by american soldiers. back in the 1950's we likely would have nuked afghanistan et. al for an attack on american soil like occurred on 9/11, and then it wouldn't have taken '10 years'.
I don't think killing him is going to do anything. There will always be someone to replace him and someone to replace him and so on and so forth. As the Admiral said, we shall see if it is a snake, or a hydra.
Shot in the head, his face looks like its been given a good kicking when he was dead. Leaked photo from no doubt one of the soldiers which will cause a s***-storm when others see it who were sympathetic to Osama Bin Laden.
Expect the next couple of years to be not so good.
there is alot of turmoil in the mideast right now. if some idiotic terroristic regime that is state sponsored does anything stupid in this climate, i think you will see a massive rain-down and retaliation by the united states. the entire middle east is at war with itself. almost all of the 'killings of muslims' has been done by muslims in the last 100 years. don't bring that stuff over here again or i think this time there will be overwhelming support to pretty much decimate the middle east. americans are worn pretty thin with 'war' and 'rebuilding nations' and trying to be 'surgical' and etc. with it's actions. another high profile attack from state sponsored groups and i think we are going to unleash massive retaliation. you can see that our allies are allowing terrorism and terrorists to hide within their borders. this compound with bin laden in it is a slap in the face to the pakistani government. they had to know he was there. turnover in egypt, libya, syria, and god knows where else will leave these countries with largely anti american and terroristic masters in place. i really feel for the people who grow up in these nations who will never have a taste of real freedom and will be at the whims of their repressive masters and ultimately will suffer due to the actions of their 'rulers'.
I've just seen a photo that says and kinda proves that the leaked photo is edited and fake.

I think Osama got what he wanted. He dies a martyr, which will likely spur Al Qaeda on. Not only that, but you know what martyrs get in heaven, right? 72 virgins. After being in hiding for 10 years, I think he'll enjoy that.
Catching him after 10 years? That really doesn't have any use and I don't really think that's counted as a victory .
Although i'm not with or against him.
