From all the people I've seen talking about the beta, the MP is broken as all hell in how unbalanced the Homefront multiplayer is handled, and brings really nothing new to any front.
Personally I would say go for Crysis 2 or forget them both and wait for Brink, as that is the FPS I would give most likely chance at staying power. Crysis 2 has the Call of Duty Emulator down pat, which means all you get out of your $60 for the Crysis 2 is an epic singleplayer and the same CoD MW2 you've (Possibly) already been playing online since IWNet went live.
Granted the single-player being what I would judge my purchase on, Crysis 2 wins hands down over HF. But MP, I would say wait for Brink and appropriate comparison reviews to hit.

Child of FFQueen92 and Zeth_Durron! I love my parents! ^w^
I don't do multiplayer. I reached my limit of tolerance for dumb people with CoD:UO.
The worst thing that ever happened to gaming was when it became mainstream.

dunno if this is allowed, but gamecards.eu very reliable site, is selling Crysis 2 pre-order keys for around £19-£20 depending on your status with them (the more you buy the bigger the discount I buy my EVEonline keys here and its legit).
Noticed DA2 is there for £19 also, annoyed me since I pre-ordered it for £29
EDIT: Just realised it will be european release dates so you may miss out on a few days
EDIT2: No it isnt its 22nd of March the US date, 25th is European. So its all good

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Great site for new games with constant deals
Netflix or rent the movie RED DAWN, if you enjoy it, get Homefront.
If you loved Crysis 1 then get 2 . typically sequels either pale in comparison or simply rehash the first game with new characters and bigger environments.
Personally, I'd choose Homefront simply for the storyline.
Dude, I'm an army brat of the 1980s. I grew up dreaming of Red Dawn.
