We've noticed over the last couple of years that non unlimited members (and guests) have been taking advantage of those people that display UNL. MEMBER as their rank. They try and hack their passwords and they bombard them with PM's asking to have a UNL ONLY trainer sent to them.
In order to better protect our UNL members from these things we have eliminated the UNL. MEMBER ranks. Those that had UNL. MEMBER set as their rank will now receive the rank that corresponds with their time on the site.
We have added a small hidden UNL flag to the site that is visible only to Founders and Mods so that we can still easily identify which members are UNL and which are not.
THIS WILL NOT AFFECT UNLIMITED MEMBERSHIPS IN ANY WAY. It is merely a cosmetic change.
We know that many of you displayed your UNL MEMBER rank proudly, but this change was necessary to protect both the members and the site from unnecessary hacking attempts and spam.

wow, once i saw topic name i almost got heart attack
Can something be done for those of us stuck with the rank we had when we were UNL? My UNL ran out before I switched to Elder, and I can't change to my actual rank.
It's somewhat frustrating.
