Since google chrome is fairly new as compared to other browsers so not all popular 3rd party download managers can fully support with chrome yet. So just to ease out of this problem, I'm listing some of the major download managers that have officially got google chrome support till now and which one can easily use without any problems. just use standard DM which already works fine and it can allow resume paused downloads.

    -Internet download Manager
    -Free Download Manager
    -Download Accelerator Manager
    -Download Studio
