I need help choosing, I'm a gamer (well duh). Cousin said i should "upgrade" but a friend told me to stick with CP, I need a few more opinions on this before I decide, I noticed that games require more RAM for W7 than for XP

Well, They do because you have to account for windows Aero effects. But it dose have the handiness of XP and the looks of Vista. So it's pretty a safe upgrade.
Also if you have 2+ G.B of DD3 RAM then you're fine.

W7. You can't go wrong. It's a pretty sweet OS. Though it takes some time getting used to if you haven't seen or worked on a W7. It isn't complex or anything, though like all OS it's more complex than the superficial look.
How much RAM we talking about here?

2gigs on win7 for gaming is pushing it so either get more RAM or stick with XP SP3. most games still support and will probably continue to support XP SP3 so u could stick with it for now and when u upgrade ur RAM then u can make the switch. otherwise WIN7 rocks for gaming and non-gaming.
