It definitely would help if the game makers who make a game right free of bugs from the start instead of creating numerous patches. That why only one trainer per game be needed. I am sure the Cheat Happens staff would like that and make their job easier. Merry Christmas to the Cheat Happens staff and Thanks for your hard work in 2010! Happy New to all!

In order to turn off steam auto-update.

Go to your library page.

Right click on Civ 5, select properties.

Click on the updates tab.

Change to do not automatically update this game.

click on close.

I do share this opinion; cheat happens make a superb and swift work. I do understand impatience, but PWizard and his team deserve a private life. Best Season's Greetings to all, and many many thanks.

I am just wondering why people fill these message boards with posts announcing updates? Can't that be posted in the original trainer thread? Perhaps these threads should be locked out whenever they are posted outside of there? At any rate, to play a little devil's advocate for those seeking the trainer... they are just customers pining for a product. With no signs saying "closed for the holidays" they are likely to walk right into the store and expect business as usual (especially if they themselves do not recognize Christmas).

That said, happy holidays to all from an atheist that still celebrates Christmas because presents are awesome.

Well said PWizard. When I joined I did not see anything telling me a trainer would be out in 30 minutes, a day or a week.

Look at all the bugs this game has had. That is why it is getting so many patches. Everyone should be yelling at the people that put such a messed up game out in the first place.

It is just a game. I think everyone at CH deserves to have a Merry Christmas and take time off over the entire holiday season.
