I don't want to make a topic about how good the old days were, but seriously, in the old days this place was more "active" I'd say, even back when the OTD didn't exist. Now I just can't feel the energy in here, did you notice this or I'm just feeling like this?

Every few months we get one of these threads. That one doesn't help with activity or "energy" either.
Trust is a fragile thing. Once trust is lost, it can be impossible to recover. Those we're closest to can betray us,and total strangers can come to our rescue. In the end, most people decide to trust only themselves. It really is the simplest way to keep from getting burned.

I kinda agree with you. The winter used to be the time when there would be an influx of new members and there would be a lot more activity.
Not so much lately however. I'd say the last year GD/OTD has had the least amount of activity for as long as I can remember.

This has been happening over a long period of time, and this is not the first topic about this.
I think it's mainly due to the fact that the older members are getting older irl and don't have time for CH anymore. And the new blood that should be replacing the older members isn't coming in.
