    1. Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (mbam-setup.exe) and save it on your Desktop.
    2. After downloading, double-click on mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
    3. Follow the prompts and install as “default” only
    4. Before the installation completes, check on the following prompts:
    – Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
    – Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
    5. Click “Finish.” Program will run automatically and you will be prompt to update the program before doing a scan. Please update.
    6. Scan your computer thoroughly.
    7. When scanning is finished click on the “Show Results”
    8. Make sure that all detected threats are marked, click on Remove Selected.
    9. Restart your computer.

The name of that trojan wasn`t obvious or anything. You would think that a hacker would use more creative names to hide their trojan.

Do you check your Firefox components folder everyday? You wouldn't find it unless you actually knew it was there from an Av or something.

Most people name viruses by pounding the keyboard once and adding a .dll at the end. Don't get much more creative than that.

If made a virus it would be called "stopkeyloggers.dll" or "preventhacking.exe"

Most obscure the name the easier it is to spot that it is dodgy. Who has looked at their Task Manager in Windows and the processes tab and noticed weird processes running? Yeah the weirder the name the higher the possibility it is not right.

The worse kind are the ones that run silently and each time you run an executable file or .com (if on an older windows) file it will infect it so each time you run that it will be back again, it makes removal very difficult. And of course the self replicating types that randomly reassign a new file name every so many seconds and saves itself to the HDD and rewrites the registry, this makes it impossible to delete entries from the registry and kill the processes before a new one is made, eventually your HDD is full of little .dll files :P
