Can I really not play some games because of my video card? I was using the website "Can You Run It" or whatever and it keeps saying I fail because I have a Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family even though underneath it I meet all the requirements for a video card for the game. Sure Nvidia is the gaming video card, but I should not be limited because of the brand I have.

On Can You Run It it stated that my video card could not run Left4Dead2, but after downloading and installing it I found that it can actually run it on high quality. I wouldn't trust it so much.

Onboard Intel chips have limited operation than compared to PCI-e GPU's on the market. To put it bluntly they are not that great for gaming at all. If you want a gaming laptop you have to look for ones with at least a Geforce 260m or 5700+ ATI.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

I'm not buying a new laptop, this one is new, it's an Asus. Anyway, I'm sure it can play some games.

Don't get your hopes up though. One of my desktops has Intel GMA graphics and the best it can run is WarCraft 3.

With onboard Intel graphics you can't realy play games. Even nvidia/ATI onboard graphic cards are not realy fast and if you have luck you can run 10 year old games. They are dedicated for office and maybe some videos and not for gaming.
So yes it can be, that your card is to slow.
