Patrician 4 Message Board  

Big fan of the patrician series but patrician 4 was an absolute disaster, simply put the game sucks the whole interface is unfriendly and hard to use, the graphics are terrible, the campaigns are a joke and dont make sense. Save yourself $40 and stick with patrician 3.

I whole heartedly agree. It makes no difference that a few people seem to think it has better graphics and is a better game. I think it is a total waste, especially since it uses Steam. I like P3 a lot better and wish I had saved my money instead of buying P4.

I disagree! I like the graphics and music. I play freeform, so I don't pay attention to the "scenarios" and I use the "trainer" to "improve" my cash flow. Game is wonderful, but a little tedious, far superior to Patrician 3, with a better manual. And about Steam, first I hated it--I am a libertarian--,but I have gotten to like it. All of my games are patched to the latest edition--not a bad idea and some of the "download" bargains are great!
