I have sent an inquiry to Blizzard requesting information as to why they have banned single player cheaters. Let's see what kind of answer they give me.

i just think that its your right to play the sp game how you see fit as it was your money that bought the game.

I only play cod and dota on multi player with a group of friends. This will mean i will think twice before i buy a Blizzard game, i'll rather get a cracked version of the game then.

I finally got a reply from Blizzard customer support. I'm a little shocked.

    "Dear [Matt],

Thank you for contacting Blizzard Customer Support. As you may have noticed, a lot of websites have been posting information that we are banning single player cheaters. And while this information is true, there is a good reason for it. When you cheat in single player mode, the achievements that you earn directly affect your multiplayer standing. While we do realize that once you buy our games, they become your property, we do reserve the right to terminate your game at any time whenever we feel it is necessary. I hope this has cleared up any confusion.

Wow. Just WOW. And then they had the GALL to send me a survey to ask what I thought of their customer service.

that's like rubbing salt into an open wound. personally from now on i'd think ten times before buying a Blizzard game or at the very least the future installments of SC2.

Yeah, I highly doubt that I'm going to be buying any more Blizzard games after this. They can't even get their own people to maintain their "we don't ban single player cheaters" facade. There's something rotten in Denmar... I mean, Blizz.
