They're supposed to be dropped by Cramerax and in the armory of knoxx.

Link to the only Pearl weapon I've kept since going into Playthrough 2.

according to borderlands wiki, pearlescent weapons are exclusive to third borderlands DLC, if you don't have it that's probably your problem, if so, it goes on to say, "They can be found in weapon boxes, dropped by Crawmerax the Invincible, bosses during This ***** is Payback, and less commonly by Lancers. They can also be dropped by BadAss Bruisers, Lance Pyros, Badass Engineers, Drifters and on rare occasion can be found by opening Crimson Lance chests."

Firefly, that is not a pearlescent weapon. That's a purple.

And like said before in this thread,
you have to have the General Knoxx DLC to be able to get them.

Oh, they have a much,
much bigger chance of dropping in a 4 player co-op game.

this is a little off topic, but concerning the DLC's, I was thinking of buying the GOTY edition of Borderlands even though i already have a copy of the main game, and the dlc double pack with the zombie island of dr. ned and Moxxies big top, or whatever it's called, i'm interested in the 3rd and 4th DLC's as well as the DNF forever demo, though i'm not sure it's worth the $50 I'd have to shell out for it. Any thoughts on the matter?
