I'll be watching it sometime soon, not sure when though. Looking forward to see how Resident evil 5's Majinis are used in the movie.

I'd like to see it, but at the moment my uninformed opinion - i.e. I've only seen the trailer, not read any reviews of spoilers, etc - is that it looks like the only thing it has to do with Resident Evil is the name. If the movie does have Zombies in it, they should have been in the trailer since that's what RE is in many minds. Instead we just have gratuitous shots of Alice and her clones (I'm not entirely sold on this one... it's one of the main reasons I'm dubious about the movie in general...).
It looks kind of like what the actual games did... it felt like they veered off completely from the first 3 games with RE 4 and 5 except for characters.
However, I'm keeping my mind open as far as I can until I see it for myself. I'm sure it's a great movie... just doesn't look like RE at the moment.
On the other hand, I'm also open to the fact I could be talking out of my ass until I see it for myself.
