I'll tell you exactly how to do it for your friend.
First, turn on the aurora and turn it on until just before the trainer is activated.
Then run HellDivers2Luncher.exe.
Then quickly change the window back to Aurora Trainer and press F1 as soon as you get the green message Game Found.
I think I hit two times in a row.
If you're lucky, you'll go straight to the game connection screen, or you'll get an error message about GameGuard.
The game connection screen is a success, and if you get an error screen, the Aurora trainer will be forced to shut down.
Then you can repeat the previous actions again.
Remember, as soon as the game found rises, you press the F1 key, so you only have about 0.1 seconds to spare.
Repeat a few times and you'll get the hang of it.
Then have a fun game!🙂

Unfortunately, before Aurora Trainer displays the green "Game Found" message, STEAM launches and Game Guard displays an error message.
The trainer worked with me once 50 hours ago and it was a fantastic experience.
After that, I still get Game Guard errors and crashes with Aurora Trainer before I launch the game.
I don't want to annoying the devs.
I just want to experience what they create.
I read this post at least 5 times from the first page to the last and was looking for a solution.
All I've found so far is to run the latest exe and try until it works.
After trying again and again, I got tired and asked for help.
So I'll wait.
I am always grateful to the developers for their hard work and kind friends.
This happened to my laptop earlier, one of the virus software I'm using did an update and enabled. Lead to the error.
What i did to fix is to verify all the steam files and download the new exe.

No one is trolling. Just having a hard time getting the timing. Many claim success, many claim failure. Maybe make a vid and help others with timing.

Confirmed, option to collect samples will not let you get xp, credits at end of mission. perhaps lowering the amount set to collect would be the answer.
Extra resource option does work though
the options work, make sure you are doing a mission that is not trivial, try hard
