Think I've gotten it down to a science at this point to easing my experience in utilizing aurora for HD2

All I did this time is just add / remove "--delay_gameguard_init," in my launch options and this is after my session last night.

Crucial thing to listen is the beeps, if it doesn't beep with the above command from either removing / adding, close out the game and add / remove the command as needed.

If it launches the game successfully but aurora spits out it didnt find "game.dll", close out the game and start over. This is basically gameguard "verifying" the files for you. Shaved some minutes off the process, at least for me from not manually verifying files. Didnt need to close out aurora either.

Ttrainer is working as intended, awesome job! Keep it up, guys! 😊🍀

I think I may have found what is causing the launcher not work properly. For me , there is a gameguard .des file last modified 3/9/2024 leftover, I simply delete and the trainer functioned normally. So check if there are multiple gameguard .des file in your bin folder.

Do you guys have the GameGuard "FATAL ERROR code 153" ?

I closed my browser
Put the "Helldivers2Launcher.exe" into the \bin directory
ran it as admin
Aurora is open and waiting
Crash of the game before it starts showing anything with the pop pup of gameguard saying:

GuameGuard initialize error: try closing or rebooting all programs that might interfere and try again. Error code 153

153 means you need to exclude Aurora and the BIN directory from any and all AVs you may have, regardless if they are active or not.
Then reinstall the game and reboot your PC.
Start game normally 1 time before opening Aurora
Open Aurora as admin and download a new launcher file
Spam F1 as you start the launcher file as admin

What is strange is that i don't have in AV of any sort. never had. Windows FW is deactivated...

Aurora starts perfectly. No problem on that.

When i follow the cheat instructions, it says that i have to put the game launcher in the bin directory of HD2. That's what i did.

When starting the "gamelauncher" that's when i have the GameGuard (protection) Crash with code 153.

i deleted guameguard, checked steam files integrity and it downloaded guameguard again. All programs but steam are closed. Still crash of gameguard when i use the launcher.

If i start the game using STEAM: no crash, everything is working perfectly.

BTW: heared the two bips before GameGuard Crash. The game exe is running after the protection crash but it's frozen i guess since i need to exit steam to kill the game process.

Standard (no launcher) Steam start works fine. i can play if i don't try to use the CheatHappens Launcher.

Run the game normally first via STEAM play button, let game guard connect and verify itself. If the game launches fine, close it, run aurora then use the "launcher" activate trainer during beeps when game found shows up in green in the aurora window.

Remember to get a new launcher via link in Aurora every time trainer updates as something may have changed.

i'm using the very last launcher.

Starting the game using steam
Closing the game when the game starts fine (after GameGuard is started fine)
Started Launcher (but i dont have the time to switch to aurora, then press F1 before GameGuard crash)



if i start the Launcher with steam closed, it works !
